The CHEW Foundation is a non profit organization, 501c3 charity. The CHEW Foundation stands for “Connecting Health Care Education Worldwide.” One of the main focuses of the CHEW Foundation is the oral systemic link. Knowledge is power and it is important that the public is aware that the oral cavity is one of the first lines of defense in reducing inflammation throughout the body. Reducing any unnecessary inflammation in patients with heart disease, diabetes and cancer will aid and benefit them on to the road of recovery and sustain them on their preventative journey. CHEW is twofold, the main point is to treat dental needs but the acronym stands for bridging the gap between medical, dental and genetics by Connecting Health Care Education Worldwide. The CHEW foundation will fund patients and treat their immediate dental needs. The CHEW foundation stands by and will fund providers that are trained and certified by the Smile with Heart Program developed by Dr. Jill Wade DDS. The main focus of the Smile with Heart Program is to treat potential life threatening dental infections. There is a systematic approach a blueprint created by Dr. Jill Wade that gets to the root cause of oral inflammation. Patients will first go through a series of advanced diagnostic testing to find a potential hidden dental infection and or periodontal disease. The number one killer in America is heart disease and the CHEW Foundation is invested in saving lives by treating the underprivileged with cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cancer. The CHEW Foundation will treat patients with advanced medical testing and quality dental care bridging the gap between medicine, genetics and dentistry. The Founder is a practicing dental hygienist and prides herself in practicing as a Smile with Heart hygienist: Saving lives one mouth at a time. A Smile with Heart hygienist is part of the Smile with Heart program. The level of advanced training that both a Smile with Heart hygienist goes through is just as extensive as a Smile with Heart dental provider. The CHEW foundation believes that the public should be able to have excellent dental care. However, advanced testing and dental treatment is an expense that most cannot afford. Unfortunately, heart disease, diabetes, and cancer are taking our loved ones by minutes. We know now that inflammation in the mouth is directly associated with inflammation throughout the body. A hidden dental infection and or periodontal disease can ultimately cause death; especially, if you are genetically prone to certain inflammatory diseases. Stand by the CHEW Foundation and lets save the lives of people who suffer from inflammatory diseases. We can make a difference one mouth at a time!

Currently there are roughly 210,000 practicing dentists in America. It is estimated that 418,000,000 HVE Tips are thrown away each year. This practice has been going on for over 40 years. The dental industry uses single use plastics at an alarming rate. A~flexX has taken on a big task to move the clinical side of dentistry to become more sustainable. The CHEW FOUNDATION “Connecting Health Care Education Worldwide” will support the STOP SINGLE USE PLASTIC INITIATIVE in DENTISTRY by educating dental professionals to be mindful of their clinical waste. Proceeds from A~flexX Green Products have been donated to The CHEW FOUNDATION which will be used for the SMILE WITH HEART program and a Ocean Clean Up Initiative. “The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra”(Jimmy Johnson)

Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has a beautiful beach, but unfortunately, it is marred by litter. The City of Fort Lauderdale does a great job grooming the beach every morning, but the amount of trash left behind by beachgoers is overwhelming. Education is so important, and we believe it starts with the youth. One goal of THE CHEW FOUNDATION is to develop an educational platform for elementary and high schools in the local area to teach students the importance of leaving no trace behind. As we do beach cleanups, we pick up a lot of beach toys left behind by visitors. Another initiative is to collect these toys and develop a toy borrowing system that visitors can share and re-share. The overuse of plastic is a serious issue that is affecting our oceans, killing coral reefs, and fish. Education is power, and the future is with the youth.
